What will the veg box contain? The box will contain very generous portions for 2 to 3 people, able to carry you through the Christmas week and all the cooking required. It will contain: Includes 11 items:

Maybe also have some festive extras! Can I order a Christmas Box if I already have a regular veg and/or fruit box subscription? Yes.  Anyone can order a box. If you already have a regular veg and/or fruit box subscription, you just need to select the Christmas Box size you want and add it to your cart, which we will process as a one-off purchase. We will pause your usual veg/and or fruit box delivery for that week and will instead deliver your Christmas box between Tues 21st – Thur 24^th Dec When will you deliver? We will deliver between Tuesday 22^nd and Thursday 24^th December. What is the deadline for placing an order? Basil & Tom’s offering Turkey this Christmas!

We’re delighted to be able to offer free-range bronze turkeys this Christmas. You can either pick up in-store or order online to have delivered to your door.

Where are our turkeys from?

• We have sourced our turkeys from John Howe’s free-range turkey farm in Tenterden, Kent

 

What turkeys will you stock?

• We will have whole bronze turkeys and turkey crowns
• They both come oven ready, with the giblets vac packed, wrapped in greaseproof paper in a cardboard carrier, along with cooking instructions, recipe ideas and a pop up timer

 

How do I order and when will you deliver? 

• You can click the {link here] to place your order and will send you an email confirmation. Or pop into the shop and we’ll process your order in store
• We are still taking orders for turkeys up to Friday 11th December.
• Deliveries will be scheduled between Mon 21^st Dec and Wed 23^rd Dec – we’ll email you to confirm your delivery day.

 

Will my turkey be delivered along with my weekly fruit & veg or Christmas fruit & veg box?  Christmas veg box order?

• We will deliver your turkey separately. Your fruit & veg box will be delivered on your regular delivery day and the turkey on a different day. So you will receive two separate emails from us confirming your delivery days.

 

What are bronze turkeys?

The bronze turkey is the original and traditional turkey. They are distinctive by their black feathers. The bronze turkey being an older breed, is naturally slower growing and many people enjoy their richer more intense flavour.
