We’re here to bring great produce to the lovely people of West London, we are Basil and Tom’s: your box fresh, community grocery store.
We’re owned and run by Max and Gabby, the Mahadeo family, long-term Acton residents. We eat at the Fed & Watered, Station House, Churchfield Foodstore, drink at Vindinista and shop at The Village Trading Store. We love West London!
We live locally, and wherever possible, source as much as we can from the U.K. and Europe. And with 20 years experience in the catering trade, you can be sure we know our onions.
Our aim is to offer high-quality and tasty produce, lovingly sourced from our trusted suppliers and the farms and markets of the South-East.
Our produce is sourced from a variety of suppliers. We buy direct from some UK farms, fruit and veg markets around London, Neal’s Yard Dairy, Brindisa; Paul Rhodes Bakery, Cacklebean Eggs; The Scottish Bee Company, Karma Curry, Tom Parker’s Creamery, and a number of other specialist producers of oils, condiments and chocolates.
We prioritise selecting the best seasonal produce and serving as much of it as we can without being wrapped in plastic.
Riper, fresher, tastier – it all adds up to a better deal for the environments and our health.
All you need to do is bring a bag.

After we deliver the Christmas Fruit & Veg boxes w/c 19th Dec we will take a break from deliveries until w/c 2 January. That means there won’t be standard fruit & veg boxes w/c 19th and 26th December.
